Adobe Systems needed a Help system that worked seamlessly across all of its products, providing a simple, integrated solution for customers using multiple Adobe applications. They hired Sliced Bread Design to help improve the usability of the viewer, integrate new RSS functionality, and facilitate a search system that allowed users to access information from all Adobe products at once.
Strategy & Solution
In order to provide a simple solution for users looking for help, Sliced Bread Design:
- Designed a series of community-based features, such as user ratings and user forum content, that would improve the Help system over time
- Improved the overall design of the Help interface to include cross-product search and suggestions for better search terms
- Used rapid prototyping and user research methods to quickly test several proposed solutions for integrating RSS feeds
