Creating a new application design

Because Intuit was starting from scratch in a new market, they wanted to create an entirely new application design crafted around the way users think about medical expenses. This included:

• One-click access to view all members of the household or just one individual
• Powerful sorting and searching to allow users to find just what they were looking for
• Color-coded expenses to highlight the status of each expense
• Quick and diverse entry of expense basics so that users could interact with the product in the most natural way for them
• Animations to reinforce key actions, so that the users would know when an action had been performed
