Strategy

Good design doesn’t just happen. It takes strategy. As part of every project, we work with you to create a plan that is specific to your product’s needs. It might include a review of similar products, user research, and user scenarios. Or it might not. It all depends on what will make your product better.

Program Design

The first part of every project is the program design. This is where we decide how to create a compelling product or service that users love. We also establish a clear set of final deliverables, so that everybody knows what to expect.

Product Definition

A great product should do everything you want it to do and nothing you don't. Of course, one of the first questions we have to answer is what features your product should have. That's why, during the product definition stage, we work directly with you and your customers to figure out exactly what your product should do. By understanding your business goals and your customers, we can craft a product specification that meets everybody's needs.

Expert Review

We know good design when we see it. If you already have a version of your product available, whether it’s a work in progress, an early prototype, or a final product release, we can identify what is and isn’t working. An expert review gives you the benefit of our extensive design experience and provides a heuristic evaluation of your product with an eye toward finding areas for improvement.

User Scenarios

We want you to get to know your users. One of the ways that we do that is by creating user scenarios. These descriptions of common user types tell you the story around the interaction you are creating. They help us all get to know the types of people who are using your product and how they are using it.
